Robert Tighe was called to the Bar in 1979 and has over 35 years experience practicing law. Over the span of his career, Robert has appeared before all levels of Ontario Courts and various administrative bodies and tribunals.
Robert has a diverse litigation practice that includes corporate and business disputes, employment law matters, professional negligence, estate disputes, insurance law, environmental law and personal injury. He also practices in estate law and assists clients with estate planning and administration, including drafting wills, powers of attorney, and trusts documents.
Robert was an instructor with the Law Society of Upper Canada and taught civil procedure and advocacy for the Bar Admission Course.
In addition to being a member in good standing with the Law Society of Upper Canada, Robert is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, The Advocates' Society and the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto, and a former member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
